June 27, 2014 -- Bagels, a Nook, comfy chairs and a creative writing notebook ready to be filled with the fun, funny or just plain “wild” story ideas summer days can bring.
Students are already excited for these things and more in the summer library program that librarian Ann Myers is kicking off Thursday morning, July 10 at the Middle School. The program runs on Thursday mornings from 9 to 11:30 a.m., all summer long.
Bagels and fruit will start off each morning’s program, says Mrs. Myers. Any middle or high school student can drop in, grab a Nook e-reader and settle in to one of the library’s relaxing sofa chairs—or pick up a composition notebook and let their imaginations rule their pen strokes.
No pre-registration is required. The program begins
Thursday, July 10 at 9 a.m. in the Middle School library.
