A HUGE Congratulations goes out to GFMS 8th grader Brayden Dock, whose hard work on his golf game has paid off big-time and earned him the top finish at the Regional Drive, Chip & Putt competition September 29th at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, CT in the Boys 12-13 Age Division! Brayden is headed to the 2020 Drive, Chip & Putt National Finals hosted by Augusta National Golf Club (Georgia) on April 5th—the week of the Masters.
Brayden was all smiles after winning his division, saying he was looking forward to the trip in April. “Just going to Augusta,” Brayden said. “I’ve never been there, and I’m excited to go, just be there. I don’t care how I do, I want to be there!”

By tapping the creative and competitive spirit of girls and boys ages 7-15, Drive, Chip and Putt provides aspiring junior golfers an opportunity to play with their peers in qualifiers around the country. Participants who advance through local, sub-regional and regional qualifying in each age/gender category earn a place in the National Finals, which is conducted at Augusta National Golf Club the Sunday before the Masters Tournament and is broadcast live by Golf Channel.
Congratulations, Brayden!
