The Glens Falls wrestling team broke 48-year losing streak on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021 and defeated Queensbury by a score of 39-36.
The team was led by victories from Killian Batchelder, Avi Berg, Ayden Grieve, Skyler Sturdevant and Jacob Pregent. The win was made possible by an Eli Johnson comeback pin and a Gavin Williams pin in the last match to seal the long waited victory.
It was a team effort! Coach Perry wants to thank the team for their hard work and dedication! “We ain’t done yet!”
