Classroom-Based Positions

Responsibilities include working with individual students or groups of students on instructional activities and tasks, and related work as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State Teaching Assistant certification, or the willingness to obtain it as a term of employment
  • Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma, and knowledge in a particular field where specialized duties are required
  • 18 credits earned from a regionally-accredited college or university

The Glens Falls City School District has anticipated openings in the Teachers Aide area. Responsibilities include the supervision of students and other non-instructional tasks within the management of the school day, and related work as required.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma, and knowledge in a particular field where specialized duties are involved.

BUS DRIVER

The Glens Falls City School District is seeking candidates with interest in full-time work as a Bus Driver. Qualifications include the following:
      • Must be 18 years of age or older
      • Valid CDL License with passenger and school bus endorsement*
      • Salary per contract

*Candidates with a valid CDL and willing to purse the passenger and school bus endorsement are encouraged to apply

FOOD SERVICE WORKER

Aramark has openings for part-time Food Service Workers in our school cafeterias. The Food Service Worker is responsible for preparing and/or building food items while providing customer service and adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures. Benefits include:
