Jackson Heights students will read for a cause throughout the month of December as they kick off “Read for Ronald McDonald House of the Capital Region” (RMHC-CR) beginning Friday, December 1, 2023.
RMHC-CR is a reading-based community service program encouraging students to practice their reading skills while helping families served by Ronald McDonald House charities. The organization provides a home away from home to family members of children receiving critical care at nearby hospitals at no charge.
The students support the cause by collecting pledges from family and friends for their reading throughout the month. All funds collected help support the RMHC-CR.
